SALARY AED 8000A well known company is looking to hire an Arabic speaking IT Help Desk Support Officer for their Abu Dhabi Operation. Candidate Should have a minimum of two year experience with a valid UAE Driving license.TitleIT Help DeskSummary of FunctionsResponsible for the monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and upgrade of Servers, Computer desktops, Notebooks, workstations, printers, peripherals as well as associated operating systems and application software.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorks closely and receives direct instructions from the IT Manager.Installs, configures, monitors and maintains computers systems, software applications, operating systems and network devices.Troubleshoots and repair software, computer systems and network problems.Manages user access to the network.Provides direct technical support to users including procedural documentation.Tests and evaluates new technology and demonstrate it to supervisors.Use of the helpdesk ticketing system to keep track of assigned tasks, asset management, and HW/SW licenses.Participates in team meetings, sharing knowledge, information and ideas with team members.QualificationsGraduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.IT Standard Industry Certification is an advantage.Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position.Valid driver’s license for travel to client sites.Required SkillsTechnical ability to support primarily Windows based server and workstation platforms.Previous customer service related experience.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent technical and organizational skills.Ability to work cooperatively and independently.Willingness to work the required hours to complete the responsibilities assigned.Organizational RelationshipsDirectly reports to IT Manager.About The CompanyParker Consult is the fastest growing Management Consultancy in the Middle East.
