Job Title: IT AssistantLocation: Jebel Ali, DubaiEmployment Type: Full-TimeSalary & BenefitsSalary: AED 4,000 per monthAccommodation: Provided by the companyOther benefits as per UAE Labor LawJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and technically skilled IT Assistant to support day-to-day IT operations across office, warehouse, and factory environments. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support, ensure system reliability, and help maintain minimal downtime in production and administrative operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing systems such as ERP, production tracking, barcode, and label printing systems.Support shop-floor devices including industrial PCs, HMIs, terminals, scanners, biometric devices, and printers.Monitor and maintain network connectivity (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) across factory, warehouse, and office areas.Assist in basic Active Directory administration, shared folders, and email setup.Manage user accounts, access rights, and password administration.Perform regular data backups, antivirus updates, and system patch management.Support CCTV systems, access control systems, and time attendance systems (if applicable).Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize IT-related downtime.Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and hardware lifecycle tracking.Liaise with external vendors for repairs, AMC services, and system upgrades.Ensure compliance with company IT policies and support audit requirements.Assist in IT-related projects and system improvements.Required QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roleBasic knowledge of:Computer hardware and peripheralsNetworking concepts (LAN/WAN)Windows operating systemsMicrosoft Office applicationsERP systemsStrong troubleshooting and communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environmentKey Skills & CompetenciesTechnical troubleshootingAttention to detailCybersecurity awarenessAbility to work under pressureDocumentation & Asset ManagementSystem & Account Administration Support#J-18808-Ljbffr
