Investment Advisor - Priority Banking

Job DescriptionThe incumbent will be responsible for:Work closely with a group of Relationship Managers to manage and promote investment and Takaful products (primary function)Manage alongside the Relationship Managers, client profiling, sales process for investment, and Takaful productsTraining of Relationship Managers on selling and portfolio management for investments and TakafulLiaise with internal stakeholders, product providers and various other parties to ensure smooth processing of sales and prompt reply to client enquiriesProvide support during initiatives aimed to cross‑sell initiatives to increase investment, and Takaful product penetrations within Priority BankingInvestment Products revenue growth and penetration increaseDrive initiatives to increase investment revenues and penetration in priority banking customersManage and meet customers and develop investment proposals for large customers through profiling and model portfoliosTakaful Products revenue growth and penetration increaseDrive initiatives to increase Takaful revenues and penetration in priority banking customersManage and meet customers and develop Takaful proposals for large customers through profiling and model portfoliosTraining of RMs and on‑job coachingTrain all the RMs on investment and Takaful productsOn‑the‑job coaching of RMs for investments and Takaful productsCompliance and Prevention of Miss‑sellingEnsure compliance to mentioned policies during investment and Takaful sales process and ensure minimal miss‑sellingTraining of RMs on compliance and risksEnsure monitoring when requiredEfficient team oversight and developmentOversee team activity, drive revenue, ensure highest quality standards are maintainedAllocate sub‑targets and assist segment to achieve their budgetsEnsure continuous professional (hard and soft skill) development of team membersProduct and platform developmentWork closely with product team and various other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of investment productsProvide feedback to enhance platform through launch of profiling tools and build up on investment product list and platformJob Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in FinanceCFA certificationCISI Certification / Other Certifications5+ years of similar experience in other banks or wealth management institutionsExperience as wealth manager for at least 3 yearsExperience in investment product management of at least 3 yearsExperience across a wide range of Banking areas, e.g. Retail, wealth management, SMEWhat we offer youCompetitive salary packageStrong emphasis on work‑life balance and wellbeing across the bankWorld‑class Learning & Development platform and career developmentGenerous annual leave entitlement and Private HealthcarePreferential banking facilities for employeesAbout UsEIBEmirates Islamic was launched in 2004 to deliver the highest standards of banking services in line with Shari'a principles.As one of the leading Islamic banks in the UAE, Emirates Islamic offers exciting career opportunities for highly motivated professionals and graduates.
