The role includes technical sales, demonstrations, and support of Silvus’ multi-antenna MIMO radio and mesh networking solutions. The position is well suited for an entrepreneurial technologist who enjoys interacting with customers, traveling, and is open to remote work where eligible.</p><p>The International Sales Engineer reports to the Director of Sales Engineering. This position is eligible for 100% remote work, depending on location.</p><h3>The Opportunity</h3><p>Silvus Technologies seeks an International Sales Engineer to collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams, providing customers with tailored solutions. The role involves technical sales, demonstrations, and support of Silvus’ family of advanced multi-antenna MIMO radio and mesh networking solutions. This opportunity is well suited for an entrepreneurial technologist who enjoys interacting with customers, has a sense of adventure, and travels.</p><p>The position reports to the Director of Sales Engineering and is 100% remote. Candidates must be based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to be eligible for remote work.</p><h3>Role and Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including system planning and customer training.</li><li>Become an expert on Silvus’ radio and networking solutions and its advantages over competing technologies.</li><li>Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.</li><li>Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.</li><li>Troubleshoot failures and abnormal field situations.</li><li>Collect and analyze field failures; provide feedback to the development team.</li><li>Participate in resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support sales and business development.</li><li>Assist design engineers to reproduce and troubleshoot problems and help drive future product development.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li><li>Travel up to 50% of the time for meetings, events, and demonstrations.</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related technical field, plus 2 years of pre- and post-sales technical support experience; OR minimum completion of secondary education with at least 6 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Proficiency with radio frequency instruments (e.g., signal generators and spectrum analyzers).</li><li>Basic proficiency in English (reading and writing).</li><li>Fluency in Arabic (reading and writing).</li><li>Must be based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).</li><li>Willingness to travel to potential conflict areas in support of radios.</li><li>All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</h3><ul><li>Experience with operating and testing IP radios/modems.</li><li>Familiarity with Linux.</li><li>Proficiency with TCP/IP networking.</li><li>Knowledge of wireless communication systems, RF signal propagation, and digital communication technologies.</li><li>Exposure to programming languages such as C/C++.</li><li>Excellent organization, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><h3>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li>Trade shows and outdoor demonstrations.</li><li>Occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens during tests or demonstrations in the field.</li><li>Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs for demonstrations and testing.</li></ul><p>All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check.</p><p>Silvus is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
