A global multidisciplinary consultancy with 16,500+ professionals across 40+ countriesDelivering world-class infrastructure, buildings, and environmental solutionsBe a part of shaping our business and driving innovation initiatives.About SJ GroupGlobal urban, infrastructure, and engineering consultancy with 16,500+ employees across 40+ countries, including SMEC and other leading entities within the group, delivering transformative energy, infrastructure, and advisory solutions across the Middle East, Central Asia, and globally.Role OverviewWe are looking for an Intermediate Project Architect with strong design capability to support architectural project delivery while maintaining a strong design focus.The role will contribute to concept development, schematic design, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring design intent is maintained through the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of architectural concepts and design narrativesPrepare design presentations, diagrams, and architectural studiesDevelop 3D models and visual outputs to communicate design ideasCoordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, and landscape teamsAssist in translating design intent into coordinated design packagesParticipate in design workshops and client presentationsEnsure architectural quality and design integrity throughout project stagesRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture5-8 years of architectural experience within design consultancy environmentsStrong design portfolio demonstrating concept and design development workAdvanced proficiency in Rhino, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and visualization toolsExperience with parametric modelling tools such as Grasshopper is beneficialStrong design communication and presentation skillsExperience working on large-scale mixed-use, hospitality, or urban developmentsWhy Join SJJoining our Middle East team offers an opportunity to work on large-scale mixed-use and urban developments across the region while collaborating with experienced architects, planners, and engineers within a global consulting environment.All recruitment activities are managed by our Talent Acquisition team.
