The position collaborates with companymanagement to maintain and continuously improve information system, application,databases, and other data processing functions. Additionally, the InformationSystem Manager is responsible for designing and rolling out of all informationsystem initiatives.ResponsibilitiesSubject matter experton implemented technologies, application architecture, problem resolution,cybersecurity, and business impactEnhance informationsystems by identifying business improvement opportunities through systemsmodification or development of application strategies by working closely withkey business usersCollaborate with themanagement and business unit heads to determine business application needs andto assist with application roadmaps and upgrade planningDesign and implementshort- and long-term strategic plans to ensure information system meets businessdemandsDesign and developmentof business requirementsProjects Implementationand management and change request managementEvaluate thefunctionality of systemsNegotiate with vendorsand contractors to identify newopportunities of information systems Analyze the impact of applying datasystems to the areas of concern and provide recommendationsSelect and purchaseappropriate hardware and softwareDeploy software applicationsin the company’s computer and network systems securely and effectively,ensuring proper systems and operations management are appliedTest and modify systemsto ensure that that they operate reliablyProvide user training,support, advice, and feedbackSchedule software andsystems upgradesEnsure softwarelicensing laws are followedDesign, implement, andmonitor system maintenance proceduresSafeguard assets byplanning and implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures andinformation security and control structuresPerformall other relevant dutiesRequirementsMinimum of five (5)years of advanced software development experienceMinimum of two (2)years of experience providing desktop and application supportFluency (both oral andwritten) in both English and Russian as an advantagesDatabase management –MS SQL, OracleKnowledge of financeprocesses, IFRSExpert knowledge ofcommodity trading business processesProficient in systemsanalysis, diagnostics, and repairBachelor’s Degree in InformationTechnology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Sciences,Business Administration, or related fieldMaster’s degree in a technicalfield preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
