OverviewHSE OFFICER – Company: KN International | Location: Al Dhafrah Western Region | Job Type: Full-TimeKN International is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards onsite, conducting safety inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture among all project stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in line with company and industry standards.Monitor HSE performance and recommend corrective actions to improve workplace safety.Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations, ensuring compliance with approved safety measures.Collaborate with Safety Managers and Contractors to implement HSE best practices and address safety concerns.Review Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), risk assessments, and work method statements for all critical activities.Conduct toolbox talks, HSE briefings, and safety training sessions to reinforce safe work practices.Oversee and enforce the Permit-to-Work system, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.Participate in incident/accident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.Maintain accurate records of HSE statistics, safety reports, and compliance documentation.Assist in conducting emergency response drills and ensuring preparedness for workplace hazards.Required Qualifications & SkillsTechnical Diploma or equivalent as a minimum requirement.Diploma in Health & Safety Management or equivalent certification.Recognized HSE certifications such as NEBOSH OSHAD ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification, First Aid, Fire Safety or other UAE-approved training.Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE roles within infrastructure and sewerage projects.Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk management practices, and emergency response procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with project teams.Previous TAQA Water Solutions (SWS/ADSSC) approval is preferred.Why Join UsAt KN International, we are committed to safety, innovation, and professional development.
