Hse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing comprehensive health safety and environmental programs across our organization.Develop and implement HSE policies procedures and management systems to ensure compliance with local and international standardsConduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actionsLead incident investigations root cause analyses and develop preventive measures to minimize future occurrencesManage and analyze HSE performance data to identify trends and areas for improvementDevelop and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels of the organizationCollaborate with project managers and department heads to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of operationsOversee emergency response planning and coordinate drills to ensure preparednessStay up-to-date with UAE labor laws HSE regulations and industry best practicesRepresent the company in HSE-related matters with regulatory bodies and stakeholdersLead and mentor a team of HSE professionals fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvementQualificationsBachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or a related fieldProfessional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) CMIOSH (Chartered Member of IOSH) or equivalentMinimum of 15 years of experience in HSE managementDelivered a project in Marine Island dredging reclamation construction projects.In-depth knowledge of health and safety management systems risk assessment techniques and environmental management principlesStrong understanding of OSHA regulations ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standardsProficiency in incident investigation root cause analysis and implementing corrective actionsExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong leadership abilities with experience in team management and mentoringOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organizationProficiency in data analysis and report writingKnowledge of UAE labor laws and HSE regulationsFamiliarity with local culture and business practices in the United Arab EmiratesWillingness to work in Abu Dhabi and adapt to the local work environmentAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
