Hot End Shift Engineer (UAE Location)

ResponsibilitiesGet involved in product change overs so to bring help and expertise to maximize quality and ramp-up performance. Is able to restart or even fully start-up new productions on his own.HESE position describes to ensure the good operational performance of two lines. In addition to that he has to cross check line performance with random sampling and also at least two full sampling per machine need to perform during his daily shift works. Depending on the machine condition and requirement need to increase the sampling.Optimize production with :Tracking of operating standards on key manufacturing parameters: forehearth temperature regulation and feeder mechanisms (gob shape), IS Timer settings, equipments moves, lehr infeed setting, hot end surface treatment...Tracking quality and performance losses and making immediate necessary steps for improvement.Supervision of IS operators job, and hand-on support with a technical bias for problem solving.Ensure quick but safe and qualitative-first restart of equipments after a machine breakdown. If not able to lead quick repair, ensure communication with SMEs (IS workshop leader, feeder man,) through efficient alert given to shift / team leader.Look forward preventing machine equipments damage. Keep them in good condition through IS sections gentle moves (servo and cylinder cushions setting).Ensure machines and shop floor are kept tidy and safe.Ensure discipline respect by IS operators.Ensure strict respect of safety standards by colleagues. Know and is able to comment and train for any of them.Supervise IS operators work, especially concerning hot end quality checks. Ensure awareness of specifications form for each manufactured article on shift, and perform random checks by himself to prevent excesses.Ensure relevant swabbing : check grease good usage by IS operators, without waste or losses, check grease reference is the one required, check IS operators respect instructions and soiled bottles ejection.Ensure finished products top level quality through efficient communication with cold end sorters whenever machine events create defects. Strictly respects quality defined procedures.Leads necessary operations whenever defects are detected both in hot or cold end. Ensure action efficiency and traceability through control and written reporting with defined tools (sheets, New Qualiglass software,...).Handover to next reliever with consideration for previous results, specific given instructions and coming events.Maintain and develop high communication standards with cold end people.Get involved in production management routines: be able to explain past and coming events,At the end of his shift, prepare a detailed report and handover to coming team all required information for production.Ensure that standard set-up check list is available.Is able to train new or inexperienced staff for IS machine operation.Emergencies to handle properly during energy failures including hot end scrapper.Agree on doing all other tasks that may be required for plant efficient operation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
