The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of mobile applications across a range of devices including smartphones and tablets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate mobile applications with back-end services. A strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering high-quality products is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build advanced applications for Android and iOS platformsEnsure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsCollaborate with teams to define, design, and ship new featuresUnderstand requirements clearly, develop quality features, and deliver on timeCreate proof-of-concepts (POCs) and communicate limitations/overheads before finalizing solutionsDemonstrate feature functionality for customer acceptanceMonitor, identify, and fix bottlenecks and bugsRegularly sync code with repositories and maintain release cyclesMaintain code quality, organization, and automationIntegrate systems using APIs, sockets, binary protocols, AMQP, MQTT, etc.Experience in working with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) based frameworks/applications.Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and reliabilityContinuously discover and implement modern technologies to improve development efficiencyAddress assigned issue tickets in a timely mannerKey Skills & QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in mobile application development for AndroidMinimum 3 years of experience in mobile application development for iOSProficient in Java, Kotlin (Android) and Swift, Cocoa Touch (iOS)Experience with frameworks: Android: Jetpack Compose, Data binding, View binding, Room DB, Coroutines, Work Manager; iOS: Core Data, Core AnimationStrong understanding of offline storage, threading, and performance tuningExperience with location tracking-based applicationsFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and cloud messaging APIsProficiency with Google and Apple APIsKnowledge of UI/UX standards and platform-specific design principlesExperience with performance and memory tuning tools (e.g., Instruments)Proficient with Git and version control workflowsFamiliarity with popular libraries: Android: Retrofit, Dagger; iOS: Alamofire, Realm, EurekaExperience with ERP mobile applicationsKnowledgeable in MVVM architecture and SOLID principlesExperience with unit testing, Bitbucket, Jira, and Map APIsAbility to develop designs without storyboard (iOS)Familiarity with continuous integration tools is a plusJob Types: Full-time, PermanentRelocationDubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)#J-18808-Ljbffr
