Heavy duty Mechanic- Abu Dhabi

Our services, technology and equipment play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our partners' operational efficiency and productivity across their entire manufacturing process.We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Mussafah Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy‑duty vehicles and equipment used in industrial operations. This is a hands‑on role ideal for professionals who excel in diagnosing mechanical issues and ensuring operational readiness of critical machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on heavy‑duty vehicles and machinery (e.g., dump trucks, loaders, forklifts, cranes, etc.).Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely.Replace or repair worn or defective parts such as cylinders, brakes, transmissions and engines.Conduct preventive maintenance checks and maintain service records.Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards and internal procedures.Collaborate with other technicians and the maintenance supervisor to minimize downtime.Respond promptly to emergency repair requests as needed.RequirementsDiploma or ITI certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum 4 5 years of experience in heavy‑duty vehicle and equipment maintenance.Trade certification or diploma in mechanical/automotive engineering is preferred.Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills.Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.Good communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to work in an industrial setting in Mussafah Abu Dhabi.Physically fit and able to handle tools and machinery in a demanding work environment.Willing to work 12 hrs in a day (including overtime), 6 days in a week and 1 day off.#J-18808-Ljbffr
