Health Safety Environment Engineer

NOTE : This role will be based at our project sites across the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with a passion for promoting a safety-first culture across all project phases.IMPORTANT : To speed up the review of your profile, please upload your CV, Education Certificates with Mark List, Professional qualifications, NEBOSH IGC verification, client approvals (if any) and experience certificates in a SINGLE file.QualificationsMust have a minimum of 8-10 years experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects/operations in the oil and gas petrochemical industriesBachelors Degree in relevant Engineering OR Science OR HSE disciplineNEBOSH IGC or equivalent certificateMust have Lead Auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent certificationsMust have Incident Investigation Techniques certificateAdditional HSE trainings and certifications will be an added advantageSkills and CompetenciesHave strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.Able to lead a team of HSE personnel such as HSE officers, Hygiene officers etc.Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions.Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW.Ability to implement practical H2S control measures.Ability to conduct HSE audits and inspections.Ability to investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes.Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills.Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.For faster processing of applications, candidates may directly apply to our careers portal https://apps.target.ae/ords/f?p=149:6#J-18808-Ljbffr
