Head of Software Engineering [Fintech]

<div><p>Our fintech client is looking for a Head of Software Engineering. In this role, you will guide the software team through the design and development of our current and future products.</p><p>You are comfortable taking action in an environment where complete information is unavailable and can enable your team to deliver well-architected products that maintain high quality. Experience coordinating many moving parts to meet tight deadlines and having contingency plans ready when priorities shift is a must-have.</p><h3>We are seeking an engineering leader who has the following:</h3><ul><li>10+ years of experience building technical software products, with at least 2 of those years as a manager of an engineering teams of 20+.</li><li>Strong experience in B2C consumer platforms. Fintech is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience of setting-up / working with offshore engineering hubs.</li><li>Strong system design experience and ability to roll up your sleeves if needed.</li><li>Relentlessly strive to push towards best practices and team goals while being flexible in a fast-paced start-up.</li><li>You have an<b>entrepreneurial</b>spirit, strong<b>commercial</b>acumen, grit, and a deep appreciation for quality.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
