<div><p>Riyadh-based large pharmaceutical firm is hiring for a Procurement&Planning Head to head their procurement and supply chain departments in KSA.</p><p><b>Position Summary:</b></p><p>The Procurement and Planning Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s overall supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory control, and vendor management. The role ensures efficient processes, cost-effective operations, and timely availability of materials to support business needs.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.</li><li>Evaluate, select, and manage suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.</li><li>Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with vendors.</li></ul><p><b>2. Inventory Management</b></p><ul><li>Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability.</li><li>Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and shortages.</li></ul><p><b>3. Planning&Forecasting</b></p><ul><li>Lead demand forecasting and supply planning based on sales trends.</li><li>Align supply chain activities with business goals and production schedules.</li><li>Identify risks in the supply chainand implement contingency plans.</li></ul><p><b>4. Process Improvement</b></p><ul><li>Analyze supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Implement best practices, automation tools, and performance metrics.</li><li>Enhance operational efficiency while reducing costs.</li><li>Lead, train, and develop supply chain team members.</li><li>Collaborate with departments such as Operations, Finance, and Sales.</li><li>Provide regular reports on supply chain performance and KPIs.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 7–10 years relevant experience in supply chain roles.</li><li>Strong knowledge of logistics, procurement, and inventory management.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.</li><li>Leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
