Search for #Travelport on LinkedIn and hear from our amazing team.How you’ll make an impact:The Head of Destination Marketing - MEA will play a pivotal leadership role in driving new business and revenue growth and nurturing strong DMO (Destination Marketing Organization) relationships in the MEA region.This opportunity is for a talented and experienced online advertising sales manager/director to drive and lead Travelport's MEA Destination Marketing advertising revenue growth.We seek entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade Regional, Country & City Tourism Boards to embrace Travelport's latest advertising solutions and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you will provide top notch client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach B2B travel agents and B2C end travelers.Your role in action:Aggressive “Hunter”, comfortable with networking & prospecting to reach new customers and identity & develop potential new markets. Develop annual sales plan, together Global Head of Destination Marketing and execute on this plan.Build relationships with customers directly and/or through ad agencies and/or through ‘sales houses’/’sales rep offices’. Organize regular business reviews with major accounts – ad agencies and/or direct customers.Gain a deep understanding of all the solutions offered to customers, as well as communicating new solutions actively to clients.Gather customers’ objectives and consult towards the best solution offering. Creation & optimization of efficient campaigns to meet customers’ needs.
