In the largest number of locations in Abu Dhabi.ResponsibilitiesKey TasksDevelop, implement and review the school’s Inclusion Strategy, policy and graduated response to additional needsEmbed an inclusive culture and ensure inclusion is reflected in school improvement planningPromote high expectations for all students and monitor the impact of inclusive practice on outcomesProvide training, coaching and modelling for teachers to build capacity for high‑quality inclusive teachingWork closely with curriculum leaders to adapt planning, resources and assessment to meet diverse learner needsLine manage inclusion staff and ensure professional development and performance management are effectiveEnsure there are mechanisms for monitoring and constructive feedback to enhance the inclusion teachers’ quality of teaching and learningMaintain accurate records and use assessment data to evaluate the impact of provision and to inform next stepsProduce regular reports on inclusion outcomes for senior leaders, governors and parentsEnsure statutory deadlines (EHCP reviews, referrals) are metEnsure all inclusion practice is aligned with the school’s safeguarding policy and statutory requirementsPromote student wellbeing and support positive behavior strategiesOversee budgets for resources, staffing and specialist provisions where applicableEnsure all documentation, referrals and SEND processes meet local and national guidanceSupport the admissions process by taking part in admissions interviews, lesson observations, etcSpecific DutiesOrganize classroom provision, learning resources and displays to encourage an inclusive learning environmentPlan and support sessions that cater for a wide range of abilitiesObserve, assess and review student progress and adjust provision accordinglyMeet with professionals (speech & language therapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists) as requiredUse school systems (e.g. Target Tracker, CPOMS) to record progress, incidents, and communicationsQualificationsMinimum QualificationsQualified teacher status (PGCE or equivalent) and a Bachelor’s degreeAt least 2–4 years teaching experience with recent experience in a SEND/EAL or inclusion roleJob Specific Knowledge & SkillsStrong knowledge of SEND legal framework, graduated response and strategies to support diverse learnersExperience working with students for whom English is an additional languageEvidence of successful leadership and staff developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents and external agenciesHigh level of commitment to child wellbeingAbility to manage competing priorities and to lead change effectivelyEnhanced DBS/police check (or local equivalent)Aldar Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
