Head Accountant (Closed)

We are seeking a Head Accountant to oversee financial activities, manage accounting staff, and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and developing strategies to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate should have extensive accounting experience, strong leadership skills and proficiency in financial software. CPA/CFA certification preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the daily transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, inventory, and bank statements.Maintain and ensure the transactions with suppliers are as per the set terms & conditions and the related documentations.Supervise and support Operational Accountants on submission of relevant documents to Banks, Suppliers, etc.Ensure timely and accurate submission of relevant reports.Oversee receiving and customer collections of the accounting team as re per set guidelines.Ensure to send the summary of Monthly Sales Report with Gross Margin and its analysis.Match/check cost allocation for each Item and their accuracy.Monitor the flow of petty cash funds and timely liquidations thereof.Manage daily cash inflows and outflows.Check the bank reconciliation daily.Monitor the accounts of suppliers & customers and ensure its timely reconciliation.Maintain and verify approved quotations.Provide guidance to the accounting team and ensure to follow up on their tasks.Monitor and evaluate the daily work performance of the team members to analyze the accomplishment of the department goal.Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing the function of the department.Ensure implementation of proper systems and controls/policies to ensure accuracy and make sure to report periodically to relevant authorities.Prepare Financial Cash flow for the month and succeeding months.Monitor, track and report the achievements of Sales, Coordinates I-agent Sales and ensure to facilitate list of agent documents.Provision financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.Monitor the calculation & the compliance of approved commission structure for the Sales team.Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.Any other duties as assigned by the management.RequirementsProven working experience as Accounting HeadAdvanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databasesProven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulationsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to direct and superviseBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;Excellent leadership and communication skillsStrong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles#J-18808-Ljbffr
