Global Compliance and Reporting - Manager - JeddahOther locations: Primary Location OnlyRequisition ID: 1659824MENA Tax - Global Compliance & Reporting, ManagerAt EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.Join EY and help build a better working world.OverviewThe opportunityEY is seeking a Manager to join our GCR team, where you will lead complex engagements and play a key role in driving the growth of our GCR practice.ResponsibilitiesLead complex engagements and drive growth of the GCR practice.Manage our clients’ compliance and reporting needs.Establish, maintain, and strengthen valued internal and external relationships; ensure services delivered to clients are of the highest quality.Oversee day-to-day management of client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, implement standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate, and drive performance-improvement solutions.Supervise high-performing teams and foster a positive learning culture, coaching junior team members to help them develop.Ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines.QualificationsA bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or related fields.MBA, master’s or other related advanced degree and/or professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent).Very strong knowledge and minimum 5 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules/regulations and developments; ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment; strong background in tax accounting and tax auditing.Strong track record of managerial, organizational, and project management experience.Ideally, you will alsoHave experience dealing with multinational clients and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
