Our commitment to excellence has propelled us from a modest desalination systems provider to an industry leader, shaping the landscape of water and wastewater treatment.Position OverviewTo centralize, standardize, and manage all proposal and commercial data currently scattered across individual proposal engineers’ systems, and to analyze this data to generate insights that support pricing, cost control, vendor strategy, and management decision‑making.Key ResponsibilitiesData Consolidation, Central Repository & Document Control OwnershipCollect and consolidate existing proposal and commercial data (cost sheets, pricing files, vendor quotes, assumptions, approvals, and historical submissions) currently maintained by proposal engineers on individual systems.Establish and maintain a single centralized repository for all proposal and commercial data as defined by the organization.Ensure proper document control, including:Standard file naming conventionsFolder structuresVersion controlRevision history and traceabilityEnsure only latest approved versions of documents are available for use.Archive superseded and obsolete documents in a controlled manner.Act as the custodian and controller of proposal and commercial documents, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility.Commercial Costing & Pricing Data SupportMaintain cost databases, price libraries, and estimation templates.Update material, equipment, and service pricing based on latest vendor information.Provide historical costing and pricing data to proposal engineers forreference and benchmarking.Assist in cost build‑ups, margin checks, and pricing comparisons.Vendor Data & Pricing ManagementMaintain centralized vendor master data (pricing history, validity, scope, and performance).Track price movements, variations, and trends across vendors.Support preparation of comparative statements and cost evaluations.Data Analysis & Reporting (Data Analyst‑Aligned)Analyze historical proposal and costing data to identify:Cost trends and price movementsMargin patterns and deviationsVendor pricing behaviorProposal success vs. pricing strategyPrepare dashboards, summaries, and management reports.Develop structured datasets to support future forecasting and decision‑making.Highlight data gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.Documentation, Internal Controls & Data GovernanceDefine and maintain structured storage systems (folder hierarchy, access logic, naming conventions) for all commercial and proposal-related documents.Ensure controlled accessibility of documents, providing the right information to the right stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality of commercial data.Maintain document traceability, including source, revision status, and approval reference.Ensure availability of latest, approved, and accurate documents for proposals, reviews, and management reference.Support management reviews, audits, and commercial decision‑making by ensuring reliable and well‑controlled documentation.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Chemical / Industrial or similar).Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience.Skills & CompetenciesStrong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables).Knowledge of Power BI / dashboards (preferred).Strong interest in data analysis and data structuring.Basic understanding of costing, pricing, and commercial concepts (preferred).Strong coordination skills to work across multiple engineers and teams.High attention to detail and ownership mindset.Ability to maintain confidentiality of commercial data.#J-18808-Ljbffr
