General Manager

The General Manager will lead and oversee the full operations of the Joint Venture, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and profitability across water infrastructure projects, including desalination plants, pumping stations, and transmission networks.This is a start-up environment, where the General Manager will be responsible for establishing the company from the ground up, including setting up the organizational structure, building and leading the team, and implementing the operational and strategic framework required to ensure successful delivery and long-term growth.The role is accountable for delivering large-scale EPC and O&M projects, ensuring alignment with shareholder expectations, regulatory compliance, and market competitiveness in the local and regional markets.Experience/EducationBachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Manufacturing Engineering), Business Administration, or a related technical field, providing a strong foundation in manufacturing systems, production processes, and operational excellence.Additional professional certifications — such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, ISO/Quality Management Systems, Operations Management, or Manufacturing Excellence — are highly advantageous and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.Minimum 18–20 years of experience in construction/infrastructureAt least 8–10 years in senior leadership roles (GM / Director level)Strong experience in:Water desalination projectsEPC contractingInfrastructure / utilitiesProven track record managing large-scale projectsExperience working in JV or multi-stakeholder environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
