About the job Gastroenterology ConsultantJOB INFORMATIONJob Title: Gastroenterology ConsultantDepartment: GITSHORT DESCRIPTIONAn Excellent opportunity to join as a Gastroenterology Consultantfor one of the most prestigious and top tier leading Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.JOB SUMMARYTake on the role of consultant in Gastroenterology at our prestigious hospital, where you will lead the gastroenterology team, provide specialized care for patients with digestive system disorders, drive research initiatives, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, and ensure the implementation of advanced gastroenterology services and protocols.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides high-quality gastroenterology care to patients in this area of medicine.Provide consultative service as requested.Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.Performs special procedures as privileged.Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducationGraduate from a medical school of good standing.Completion of required period of training in gastroenterology & HepatologyAmerican Board / FRCS -Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or AustralianFacharzt & Sub - Board / Fellowship with Experience as per Job Descriptionpost Board / Fellowship, CCT,CCST UK Certificate ofCompletion of Specialist Training (UK)Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as requiredA certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.Dataflow is a must.Professional ExperienceMin. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in gastroenterology & HepatologyA registered member of the Saudi Board CouncilLanguageProficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.#J-18808-Ljbffr
