About the job: Freight forwarding & Transportation SpecialistNotice Period: Immediate joiners or a maximum one-month notice period.Applicants are requested to apply with their updated resumes and then click the following link to update their details to speed up the recruitment process.The Freight forwarding & Transportation Specialist coordinates with different stakeholders and is responsible for supervising import/export flow and domestic transportation (delivery and pick up). The role ensures timely communication while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. The specialist will liaise with network offices, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth operations, maintaining an efficient and updated system.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise & follow up the end-to-end import process including shipment scheduling, customs clearance, and delivery or pickup.Communicate with customers, the company network and freight forwarders to ensure smooth import/export processing.Take care of the handling operations when needed (parcels segregation).Monitor shipments, track delivery timelines, and report performance issues.Monitor the shipments' status and upload the POD to the company's track and trace system (POD management).Notify any shipment-related problems, including delays, damages, or documentation errors.Identify process improvements to increase import efficiency and compliance.Provide customer support regarding export processes, shipment status, and documentation requirements.Implement best practices to improve export operations efficiency.Proficiency in logistics software systems.Strong knowledge of customs documentation and regulatory requirements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and a second language (Arabic and/or any European languages is a plus).Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and compliance.Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing operational needs.Teamwork and collaboration within cross-functional teams.Experience & QualificationsBachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management or a related field.3-5 years of proven experience in import/export operations, freight forwarding or logistics.Knowledge of Saudi customs regulations and WW trade requirement is a plus.Generic Skills & AttributesProblem-solving attitude and solution-oriented mindset.Precision and accuracy in work.Time management and prioritization skills.Adaptability and flexibility.Strong teamwork and collaboration.Note: We thank all applicants for their interest however, only those candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
