Job Description
Job PurposeSupport the banks fraud risk management framework by monitoring fraud risks, investigating fraud cases, strengthening preventive controls, and ensuring effective use of fraud monitoring systems.Key ResponsibilitiesFraud Risk ManagementEnsure effective fraud risk monitoring and prevention across the bankReview and respond to fraud cases promptly, including initial assessment and loss prevention actionsCoordinate with Legal, Audit, and other internal stakeholders on fraud investigationsAnalyze emerging fraud trends and recommend appropriate preventive controlsConduct fraud awareness programs (classroom, e-learning, and onsite sessions)Collaborate with business units to enhance fraud prevention measuresMaintain strong relationships with regulators, vendors, and industry peersManage daily activities and KPIs of the fraud risk monitoring functionFraud Prevention & SystemsReview and enhance processes to reduce fraud exposureSupport implementation, enhancement, and optimization of the Enterprise Fraud Risk Management (EFRM) systemOversee daily EFRM system operations and alert monitoringAnalyze alerts, trends, and fraud patternsDevelop and enhance fraud detection scenariosPrepare fraud-related reports, dashboards, and performance metricsTrack and report key fraud prevention KPIsAdditional responsibilities may be assigned by management as required.Job Complexity & Decision MakingAssess fraud risks and recommend effective mitigation actionsInterpret and apply regulatory and compliance requirementsMake timely decisions on fraud-related casesIdentify process gaps and control weaknessesRecommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence of fraudKey RelationshipsInternal: All bank departmentsExternal: Regulators, system vendors, and fraud management partnersJob RequirementsEducationBachelors degree in Finance, Information Technology, or a related fieldRelevant professional certifications are an advantageExperienceMinimum 8 years of banking experienceExposure to fraud risk management, decision engines, or system implementationTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of banking systems and fraud risk toolsExperience with decision engine managementAdvanced Excel skills; working knowledge of SQL and data analysisStrong understanding of banking products, operations, and regulatory requirementsCore CompetenciesAnalytical and problem-solving skillsStrong decision-making and ownership mindsetEffective communication and stakeholder engagementTeam collaboration and knowledge sharingLeadership CompetenciesStrong interpersonal and negotiation skillsConflict management and sound judgment#J-18808-Ljbffr
