Financial Controller

Job Title -Financial ControllerAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and strategic financial planning. The role involves ensuring accuracy of financial records, supporting investment and business decisions with financial insights, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AccountingPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure accuracy of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial records.Maintain compliance with IFRS and applicable accounting standards.Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management.Compliance & AuditEnsure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.Prepare tax filings, VAT submissions, and regulatory reports.Maintain proper documentation for financial controls and governance.Budgeting & Financial PlanningLead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and investment decisions.Monitor financial performance and identify risks or improvement areas.Business & Investment SupportEvaluate financial feasibility of new projects and investment opportunities.Support management with financial modelling and scenario analysis.Assist in structuring transactions, funding arrangements, and cost optimization initiatives.Process Improvement & ControlsStrengthen internal financial controls and accounting procedures.Implement system improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial information.Qualifications & ExperienceChartered Accountant qualification (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent).5–8+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit roles.Experience in investment firms, financial services, or corporate finance environments preferred.Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and financial regulations.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and financial modelling skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent knowledge of accounting standards and compliance frameworksAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial systemsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and handle confidential dataWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentivesProfessional and growth-oriented work environmentExposure to strategic financial and investment decision-makingOpportunities for career progression and professional developmentApply now!#J-18808-Ljbffr
