Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystRole Overview:The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing accurate financial statements, and developing MIS reports to support strategic decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.Key Responsibilities:Financial Statements (FS):Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.Perform variance analysis between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.Management Information Systems (MIS):Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports for management and stakeholders.Provide insights on financial performance, KPIs, and trends.Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.Budgeting & Forecasting:Assist in preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Monitor budget adherence and highlight deviations.Data Analysis & Decision Support:Analyse financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving measures.Support business units with financial insights for strategic planning.Compliance & Controls:Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.Support audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.General Ledger (GL):Manage and reconcile GL accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Post journal entries and maintain proper documentation.Perform monthly and year‑end closing activities.Fixed Assets (FA):Maintain fixed asset register and ensure accurate capitalization and depreciation.Conduct periodic asset verification and impairment reviews.Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards for FA.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CA preferred).3–5 years of experience in Audit, financial analysis, financial statement preparation, MIS reporting, GL accounting, and fixed asset management.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.Preferred Experience:Exposure to financial modelling and scenario analysis.Experience in automating MIS reports and dashboards.Knowledge of industry‑specific financial metrics.Apply Now#J-18808-Ljbffr
