Job Title: Filmmaker SpecialistLocation: Dubai International Academic City, UAESalary Range & Benefits: AED 13,000 – 15,000 per month + Additional BenefitsThe American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking a talented and experienced Filmmaker with proven expertise in the hospitality and events industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling video content that enhances AUE’s brand presence, supports high-profile institutional events, and resonates with the younger generation of students. This role directly supports the University’s mission of positioning itself as one of the most esteemed institutions of higher education in the Middle East.ObjectivesManage and oversee all visual and creative aspects of video production.Direct scripts, scenes, and characters to ensure performances bring the narrative to life in an engaging and professional manner.Define the style, tone, and mood of productions in collaboration with Art Directors, Camera Crew Members, Set Designers, and Editors.Coordinate and guide all aspects of the production process, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and creative goals are met.Capture and produce high-quality video content for university events, academic campaigns, and promotional initiatives.Promote the University’s achievements and brand identity through impactful storytelling.Strengthen AUE’s digital presence and connect with its diverse student community through innovative content creation.Minimum Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Media, Film Production, Communication, or a related discipline.Proven experience as a Filmmaker, Videographer, or Director with strong portfolio evidence of advanced video projects.Previous experience in hospitality and event videography is highly preferred.Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).Advanced technical skills in digital equipment, lighting, and sound.Strong creativity, storytelling, and visual communication skills.Budget and resource management experience.Ability to lead and coordinate production teams effectively.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Up-to-date knowledge of emerging video production and digital media technologies.About American University in the Emirates (AUE)American University in the Emirates (AUE) is located in Dubai International Academic City.
