This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within an academic medical center, combining clinical excellence with teaching and research responsibilities.As a Specialist Hand Surgeon at the University Healthcare Facility, you will provide expert surgical care for patients with complex hand and upper extremity conditions. Your responsibilities will extend beyond clinical practice to include mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as contributing to research initiatives aimed at advancing the field of hand surgery.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions.Perform advanced surgical procedures using the latest techniques and technologies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.Engage in academic teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows in hand surgery.Participate in or lead research projects to advance clinical practice and surgical innovations.Stay current with advances in hand surgery through continuous professional development.Proven clinical experience in diagnosing and managing complex hand and upper extremity conditions.Demonstrated expertise in performing a wide range of hand surgical procedures.Experience or interest in academic medicine, including teaching and research.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to ongoing learning and contribution to the advancement of hand surgery.Private Health InsuranceTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Bonus#J-18808-Ljbffr
