Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the efficient and profitable operation of Food & Beverage, with a strong emphasis on Emirati Cuisine at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). This role oversees and elevates all aspects of authentic Emirati culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and cultural representation across the DWTC Complex.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage Commercial / Business DevelopmentResponsible for the activities of all the kitchens within the DWTC complex, to maintain and improve productivity, quality, service, creativity, and guest satisfaction under direction of the Director of CulinaryDelegates and assigns responsibilities and levels of operational authority to Section Heads in coordination with the Director of CulinarySpearheads all projects related to the Kitchens and New outlets under direction of Director of Culinary. Keeps abreast of the evolving market trends and related technology and introduces plans to implement relevant improvements in coordination with the Sr. Director of CulinaryOperations ManagementPlan, develop and implement strategies, policies and procedures to attain overall goals, budgeted financial results and objectives of the DepartmentIntroduce and monitor and assess cost control and cost reduction measuresSets the broad lines and overall targets of the annual budget for the various sections within the Department, approves final submission and presents it to the Director of CulinaryGovernance and Process ManagementReview and assess customer satisfaction with products and services in coordination with Director of Culinary, Director Commercial and Director OperationsMaintain a warm, professional and regular relationship with tenants/guests/customers and suppliers to ensure a prompt and high standard of serviceHandle suggestions and complaints by tenants/guests/customers/suppliers and process and refer requests/complaints to relevant department heads to ensure they are dealt with promptly and efficiently, Maintains effective communication on the activities of the Department within F&B and other operating departments within Dubai World TradeOrganizational ManagementManage, train and assist the Section Heads to ensure maximization of productivityReviews Departmental annual training Plans and monitors applications and progress of the approved planEnsures that employee’s suggestions /comments/ grievances are handled promptly and fairly by the Section Heads in coordination with the Human Capital Relationship Manager. Actively involve in recruiting the right personnel as per the job profile. Evaluate the performance of the team and administrate a personal development program to provide well trained employees at all levels, thus improving standards, motivation and creating succession planOperating EnvironmentFollow & implement the DWTC Policies & ProceduresImplement any other duties as assigned by the Division HeadContinually seek opportunities to develop self and if applicable subordinatesImplement duties in line with the Quality standards, Food Safety, Security and Health & Safety requirementsFormal EducationHolder of degree in Hotel SchoolWork ExperienceFive-year apprenticeship in Five Star HotelsFive - Seven Years Work in Five Star HotelsVast Experience in Hotel Kitchen Management and Outlet new openings with concept developmentSkills and KnowledgeFluent in English LanguageManpower and Logistic managementDiploma in Advanced Food HygieneProactive Leadership CertificateFinancial Management Certificate#J-18808-Ljbffr
