This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and support efficient logistics operations.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, sortation systems, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), forklifts, and packaging machinery.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions.Execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments to faulty components and systems, ensuring equipment is restored to full operational capacity.Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and proactively address them before they lead to major breakdowns.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and equipment performance data.Collaborate with operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production schedules.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on new technologies and maintenance best practices.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or vocational certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.Proven experience (2+ years) in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment.Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.Solid understanding of electrical systems, including schematics, motor controls, and sensors.Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.Prior experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.At JINGDONG Logistics, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
