This role offers exposure to mission-critical projects in electrical, mechanical, and project management disciplines within state-of-the-art data centers.Detailed Job DescriptionAs part of Huawei’s MEP team, you will support the design, installation, commissioning, and coordination of essential data center systems. You’ll work on power distribution, HVAC systems, fire safety, and structured cabling while collaborating with experienced engineers and subcontractors. This is a unique opportunity to develop technical expertise and project management skills in a high-tech environment, setting the foundation for a successful engineering career.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in design and installation of power distribution and backup systems (transformers, generators, UPS, switchgear)Support HVAC and cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, ventilation)Participate in fire safety system implementation (firefighting and alarm systems)Contribute to structured cabling, lighting, and low-voltage systems setupPrepare project documentation and assist in scheduling and coordinationCollaborate with subcontractors and consultants during project executionRequired Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldsFresh graduate (Class of 2024–2025) or up to 1 year of experienceStrong technical foundation and eagerness to learn about data center infrastructureGood communication and teamwork skillsProficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project management toolsNice-to-Have SkillsInternship experience in MEP or data center projectsKnowledge of electrical load calculations and HVAC basicsFamiliarity with safety standards and compliance requirementsExposure to structured cabling and low-voltage systemsBasic understanding of project scheduling toolsRecruitment Pro TipTo stand out, highlight any academic projects or internships related to electrical, mechanical, or data center systems in your CV.
