ELV Draughtsman

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 03/26/2025Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, layouts, and schematics for ELV systems, including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address Systems, and Fire Alarm systems.Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination layouts based on project requirements.Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D), Revit (preferred), and other design software.Strong knowledge of ELV systems, standards, and installation methodologies.Familiarity with international standards like NFPA, BICSI, and TIA/EIA is an advantage.Maintain and update drawing documentation as per project revisions.Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.Verify that designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and client requirements.Assist in resolving technical issues related to designs during project implementation.Support tender and proposal teams with design inputs, including BOQs, material schedules, and conceptual layouts.Conduct site visits to ensure accuracy in as-built drawings.Review and validate drawings for quality assurance before submissionExcellent communication and coordination abilities.Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.RequirementsProfessional Experience:Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an ELV Draughtsman in the construction, engineering, or related industry.Proven experience with ELV systems and their integrationPreferred Attributes:Certification in AutoCAD or related drafting software.Experience with BIM modeling.Knowledge of project management tools or softwareQualification:Diploma or degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.#J-18808-Ljbffr
