The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise with them.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping electrical systems according to customer specifications and industry standards.Working with other engineers to complete projects on time and within budget.Collaborating with project managers to ensure that all designs meet the customer’s requirements.Troubleshooting existing electrical systems to identify faults and design solutions accordingly.Installing new or replacement components, including wires, switches and circuit breakers.Inspecting completed work, ensuring all safety regulations are met before sign off.Establishing maintenance schedules for all electrical systems to ensure optimal performance over time.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in electrical engineering projects or related positionsSolid understanding of engineering principles and their application in practiceFamiliarity with relevant building codes and regulations such as the National Electric Code (NEC)Preferred QualificationsProfessional certification from a recognized institution such as the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE)Ability to read blueprints, schematics and diagrams for technical instructionProven record of successful completion of complex engineering projectsStrong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on collaborationExcellent problem-solving capabilities#J-18808-Ljbffr
