OverviewThe Arbor School seeks a special individual for an exciting opportunity within our school. The successful candidate will play a key role in fulfilling the school’s ecological and sustainability vision, as well as challenging students to fulfil their potential within the academic disciplines. We are seeking a highly motivated Ecoliteracy, Geography and Global Perspectives Teacher to join the growing Humanities department in Secondary School. The Humanities faculty consists of Geography, History, Social Studies, Global Perspectives and Ecoliteracy teachers. It is a core part of the school’s curriculum due to the ethos of the school and sits at the heart of outstanding practice.Enough For All, Forever. We want students to experience a sense of accomplishment and self-efficacy through their actions at home, in school and in the wider world.Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be proficient and experienced in teaching Eco-literacy, Geography and/or Global Perspectives, ideally with experience of teaching across GCSE/iGCSE and developing an A Level or IB programme. They should articulate clear plans for curriculum mapping, have strong knowledge of assessment and data tools, and be motivated to develop the Eco curriculum in the school.
