In this vital role you will mainly be responsible for improving revenue and market share in the assigned district by driving promotion activities and providing leadership to the field force.Design & Implement Sales force/Customer Engagement strategyLead & Coach sales teamEfficiently work with the brand team and take leadership for customer centric strategies with relevant internal partnersTranslate Amgen affiliate and brand strategy into regional plans (to deliver successful treatments)Analyze the sales performance of the relevant brands in the district and identifies key levers for actionKeep business unit team advised of any market changes / competitor activity relevant to strategy implementation and developmentEnsure implementation of the Marketing/Commercial tactics by development of territory plans with the teamSupervise progress of marketing messages and programsLead approved budgets to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet the plan and financial controlPlan, allocate and supervise team expenses budget to ensure budgetary control.Supervise implementation of plan of actions throughout sales cycles and ensures budget spend within agreed time, costs, compliance, and quality parametersMonitor, evaluate and act on field force metrics and standards to improve sales force efficiency from a quantitative and qualitative perspectiveBuild a strong sales team by recruiting and selecting candidates and efficiently on-boarding new hiresCoach and motivate team members to achieve/exceed territory goals and optimize individual and team engagementConduct annual and ongoing performance reviews and capability assessment within the framework of Amgen’s performance management processDevelop individual team members to continuously improve overall level of performance in their role and for future (talent) developmentSupport the team on external key customer visits as neededTake leadership in customer engagement strategies & personal external partner management.WinWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
