Director Player Development - International MarketingUnited Arab EmiratesJob DescriptionOn schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.About the PositionWynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking aDirector Player Development to join the resort’s International Marketing team.Theprimary duties and responsibilities of this role are:Revenue Generation & Market DevelopmentDrive revenue growth from the WAMI region through strategic player development initiativesIdentify and cultivate new high-value guest relationshipsDevelop and implement market-specific acquisition and retention strategiesMonitor and grow gaming revenue through targeted VIP programs and eventsAnalyze player performance, trip value, and reinvestment levels to maximize profitabilityWork closely with Marketing and Gaming teams to align promotional strategiesVIP Player DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with high-value guests and VIP playersOversee VIP service standards and personalized guest experiencesCoordinate VIP events, hosted trips, and promotional activitiesMonitor guest satisfaction and ensure service excellenceLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, supervise, and manage the Executive Host and Host teamsRecruit, train, mentor, and groom host talent for professional developmentEstablish performance goals and revenue targets for the teamConduct regular coaching and performance reviewsFoster a high-performance culture focused on revenue growth and guest engagementDatabase & Player ManagementUtilize database marketing insights to identify high-potential playersTrack player metrics including ADT, theoretical value, visit frequency, and reinvestmentMonitor host portfolios to ensure optimal player coverage and engagementImplement strategies to maximize player lifetime valueOperational & Strategic CollaborationCollaborate with Marketing, Gaming Operations, and Analytics teamsContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the WAMI marketEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policiesProvide regular performance reports to senior leadershipAbout YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:7–10+ years experience in gaming marketing, player development, or business developmentPrevious leadership experience managing host teams preferredExperience working with international VIP markets preferredBachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferredStrong ability to generate revenue and grow VIP player segmentsDeep understanding of player development and relationship managementStrategic thinking and market development expertiseStrong mentoring, coaching, and talent development skillsAbility to inspire a high-performance cultureStrong numeracy and analytical capabilityExperience using CRM and gaming management systemsAbility to interpret database insights to drive player growthExceptional interpersonal and networking skillsStrong VIP relationship management capabilityProfessional presence with high-value guestsWe offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
