OverviewQiddiya Investment Company is searching for a highly skilled Director - Commercial specializing in Vertical Links to lead our commercial initiatives for transport infrastructure projects. In this influential role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive revenue growth within our ambitious entertainment and cultural destination.Your expertise will be pivotal in overseeing all commercial activities related to vertical links, including procurement, contract management, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and project execution. If you are looking for a challenging position that allows you to make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute commercial strategies for vertical links infrastructure projects to meet revenue and profitability targetsLead, mentor, and manage the commercial team, promoting a culture of high performance and accountabilityIdentify and establish strategic partnerships with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliersOversee the procurement process, including the development of tender documentation, bid evaluations, and contract negotiationsAdminister contracts ensuring compliance with legal and project requirements, managing claims, variations, and change orders effectivelyMonitor project budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures while preparing reports and forecastsCollaborate with project teams during design and construction phases to ensure cost-effective approaches and risk managementProvide commercial input for strategic plans and contribute to decision-making processes at the executive levelEnsure adherence to company policies, operational guidelines, and best practices in commercial managementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications is preferredA minimum of 10-15 years of experience in commercial management, particularly within the transport or infrastructure sectorsProven track record of successfully leading commercial initiatives on large-scale projectsStrong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and negotiation strategiesExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and strategiesExceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teamsStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge of standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC) and relevant legislationExperience in the Middle East / KSA market is highly desirableA results-driven mindset, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentBenefitsComprehensive benefits package#J-18808-Ljbffr
