We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity.Partner with the bestAs a Directional Driller you’ll be responsible for providing engineering and operational expertise for coiled tubing (CT) drilling services on field locations. The CT Field Engineer will design and execute coiled tubing drilling operations, ensuring technical integrity, HSE compliance and alignment with project objectives in the UAE.As Directional Driller you will be responsible for:Planning and designing coiled tubing drilling programs including BHA configuration, hydraulic simulations and tool selectionsLeading CT operations at rig or well site, ensuring service quality and adherence to client specificationsMonitoring real‑time downhole parameters, trajectory corrections and tool responses to ensure the planned well path is achievedConducting pre‑job readiness checks, including equipment function testing, tool string QA/QC and reviewsConducting daily reporting job logs, end‑of‑well reports and post‑job performance reviewsSupervising BHA assembly, tool calibration and troubleshooting of downhole equipmentPreparing post‑job reports, including time/depth logs, tool performance summaries and lessons learnedEnsuring full compliance with company and client HSE standards and procedures at all timesMaintaining communication with project managers and engineering teams to optimize operational outcomesParticipating in job planning meetings and providing technical input for continuous improvementFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldHave solid 10 years of experience as a directional driller in sidetracks (slim‑hole sizes), 3D profiles and long lateral sections using both MTRHave a minimum of 3 years of experience in coiled tubing drilling, including milling sidetracking or under‑balanced drillingBe familiar with CT bottom‑hole assemblies (BHAs), PDMs, ERTs and measurement tools (e.g. downhole pressure/temperature sensors)Have exposure to UAE or Middle‑East operations (highly preferred)Have a strong understanding of QHSE practices, risk assessment and permit‑to‑work systemsHave the ability to work under pressure in rotational/on‑call environmentsHave a proven track record of successful CTD deployment across vertical, deviated and horizontal wellsHave familiarity with directional drilling software (e.g. Advantage Cadence, Well Architect or similar)Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
