Job Description

Location: 268 Al Wasl Rd, Jumeirah 1, Dubai, UAE and/or Grove Mall @ Al Barsha South, Dubai, UAEResponsibilitiesPerform a Diabetes Educator role in the facility that treats diabetes and other endocrine disorders.Function as a Diabetes Educator.Implement pump training and monitoring, including installation, adjustment, and use of CGMs (Freestyle, Dexcom, Medtronic).Assist patients with insulin titration, oral diabetic medication management, carbohydrate counting and ICR calculations for Type 1 diabetes.Provide pediatric coverage for Type 1 and other endocrine disorders.QualificationsMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized medical school.Board certification or equivalent qualification in General Practice/Family Medicine.Fellowship or additional training in Diabetology and Endocrinology from a reputable institution (preferred).Valid medical license (DHA) to practice as a General Practitioner in Dubai, UAE.Proven experience working as a General Practitioner with a focus on Diabetology and/or Endocrinology in a clinical setting.Strong clinical skills and knowledge in diagnosis, treatment and management of diabetes and/or endocrine disorders.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient‑centered care skills.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.Commitment to continuous professional development, lifelong learning, and quality improvement.Compassion, empathy, and dedication to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care.Pump training certificate.Experience in pumps: installation, monitoring, and adjustment.Experience in CGMs (e.g., Freestyle, Dexcom, Medtronic).Expertise and experience in insulin titration.Experience in oral diabetic medication.Experience in carb counting.Dealing with type 1 diabetes: calculating ICR and adjusting insulin doses.Pediatric experience/coverage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
