In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the design aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and Structural elements for our building and mixed‑use projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong buildings-focused, rather than infrastructure background in engineering and excellent coordination skills to ensure seamless integration of various design disciplines.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate MEP and structural design activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with architectural designs and client requirementsReview and analyze design drawings, specifications, and other technical documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standardsFacilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and optimize solutionsOrganize and lead design coordination meetings, documenting decisions and action itemsIdentify potential design clashes and propose effective solutions to mitigate issuesMonitor project schedules and ensure timely delivery of design deliverablesImplement quality control measures to maintain high standards of design outputStay updated on local building codes, regulations, and industry best practicesContribute to the development of sustainable design strategies for projectsPrepare and present design coordination reports to project managers and clientsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Architectural)Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP/Structural design coordination, preferably in large‑scale building and mixed‑use projects - buildings-focused, rather than infrastructure.Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and RevitStrong knowledge of MEP and structural design principlesExcellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with diverse teamsAnalytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilitiesDetail‑oriented approach with a focus on quality and accuracyFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi ArabiaUnderstanding of sustainable design practices and their implementation in projectsProfessional certifications such as PMP or LEED are preferredAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing project requirementsFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
