DC Quality Control Manager

<div><p>Quality Control Manager ensures the QC Inspectors team applies the Quality SOP&Standards to inbound and outbound deliveries Compliance to local (SASO/ SFDA/) and international quality and food safety standards.</p><h3>Key Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Oversee the implementation of Quality Control (QC) standards and SOPs for inbound and outbound operations to ensure compliance with SASO, SFDA, and international food safety requirements.</li><li>Manage the receiving inspection process for Fresh and FMCG products to verify conformity with agreed product specifications and ensure accurate acceptance or rejection decisions.</li><li>Supervise the documentation and reporting of supplier and product conformance across all categories to maintain regulatory compliance and enable full product traceability.</li><li>Coordinate and enforce food alert, recall, and destructive sampling procedures to mitigate potential food safety risks and safeguard product integrity within the Distribution Center.</li><li>Lead the inspection and evaluation of near-expiry or deteriorating stock to align corrective actions with inventory, commercial, and supplier teams for effective product management.</li><li>Conduct annual quality and hygiene audits within the Distribution Center to assess compliance with standards and drive corrective and preventive action plans.</li><li>Develop and implement training programs for QC Inspectors and DC staff to enhance awareness, technical capability, and adherence to quality and hygiene procedures.</li><li>Analyze and report quality performance metrics including supplier rejection rates and audit outcomes to identify improvement areas and support continuous operational excellence.</li><li>Maintain and monitor documentation systems for all QC activities to ensure readiness for audits and compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.</li><li>Support and coordinate pest control and hygiene programs within DC operations to sustain a safe and compliant working environment.</li></ul><h3>Skills&Qualifications</h3><ul><li><b>Qualification:</b>Bachelor degree or Diploma in Microbiology, Agricultural Engineering, Biology.</li><li><b>Experiences:</b>3-5 years of experience with (3) years’ experience in quality control management related position.</li><li>Job holder must be familiar with QA regulations set by Corporate QA Team.</li><li>Possess sound knowledge&experience about Food Items – especially Produce, Meat, Bakery, Deli&Fishery.</li><li>Possess good level of spoken&written English&Arabic language</li><li>He should have basic knowledge in JDA and WMS.</li><li>Technically know the banana ripening and other fruits ripening techniques.</li><li>He should possess the knowledge about chemicals, sanitizers used at the warehouse level.</li><li>Knowledge about the standards and testing</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
