The role requires strong hands‑on expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts. The engineer will work closely with functional and technical stakeholders at the client site to deliver high-quality, performant, and reliable database solutions aligned with business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities for reporting and analytics use cases.Develop and enhance BI reports and data sets using platforms such as Crystal Reports and MicroStrategy.Work with data warehouse structures, including star schema and dimensional models, to ensure efficient reporting and analysis.Analyze existing database solutions to improve performance, scalability, and data accuracy.Collaborate with application teams, analysts, and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical database solutions.Provide onsite support at the client location, including troubleshooting data issues and supporting production queries where required.Required Skills and Experience3–5 years of hands‑on experience as a Database Developer or Software Engineer with a strong database focus.Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including performance tuning and complex query optimization.Practical experience with Oracle databases; exposure to Amazon Redshift is highly desirable.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star schema and dimensional modeling.Experience working with BI platforms such as Crystal Reports and/or MicroStrategy.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in an onsite, client‑facing environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
