Data Center Manager

OverviewWe have a current opportunity for a Head of Marketing and Communications on a Permanent basis. The position will be based in Dubai. For further information about this position please apply.Data Center Operations & UptimeResponsibilitiesManage end‑to‑end, 24/7 data center operations to guarantee uninterrupted service.Oversee all critical infrastructure including power systems, cooling, UPS, generators, BMS, and security technologies.Track environmental, electrical, and mechanical metrics to maintain peak facility performance.Facility ManagementEnsure full compliance with Uptime Institute Tier III/IV standards and other facility certifications.Handle vendor, contractor, and OEM relationships for preventive maintenance, upgrades, and technical support.Conduct routine inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate operational risks.Maintain strict adherence to HSE regulations and GCC‑aligned safety requirements.Incident, Change & Capacity ManagementLead all incident response activities, ensuring rapid recovery and thorough root‑cause analysis.Govern change management processes to reduce operational risk and avoid service disruptions.Monitor space, power, and cooling capacity to support new deployments and customer expansions.Coordinate closely with internal teams and customers on installation planning and infrastructure growth.Security & ComplianceEnforce strict physical and logical access controls in line with ISO 27001 and internal security policies.Ensure compliance with regional regulatory frameworks and corporate governance standards.Support and coordinate audits, penetration tests, and security assessments.Skills & Experience RequiredBachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IT, or a related field.7-12+ years of hands‑on experience in data center operations or critical facilities.Strong technical expertise with UPS, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, generators, ATS/STSs, LV/MV systems, and related MEP infrastructure.Experience working in Tier III or Tier IV certified sites-preferably in the GCC.Proficiency with DCIM, BMS, FMS, and monitoring platforms.Background in colocation, hyperscale, telecom, or enterprise data centers in the GCC.Familiarity with regional regulators (CITC, TDRA, OCEC) and energy‑efficiency frameworks (ISO 50001 a plus).If you\'re interested and available, please apply or email me your updated CV.Let op: vacaturefraudeHelaas komt vacaturefraude steeds vaker voor.
