Role OverviewAs a Certified Public Accountant - Senior at Uvation, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and driving transparency across our operations. You’ll be responsible for core financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning. Collaborating across Uvation Entities, you’ll help support Uvation’s rapid growth and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.Support and coordinate internal and external audits; serve as point of contact for auditors and ensure timely and accurate submissions.Manage tax compliance activities including federal, state, and local filings; support preparation of necessary documentation for tax filings.Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.Identify financial risks and inefficiencies; recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls and accounting policies.Collaborate with FP&A, operations, legal, and leadership to provide financial insight and support business initiatives.Handle multi-entity and multi-currency transactions (as applicable).Mentor and review the work of junior accounting staff and ensure best practices are followed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.CPA certification is highly preferred.10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 8 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.Technical SkillsProficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g. MS Dynamics & Netsuite ) strong MS Excel skills required.Familiarity with tools for budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and audit support.Comfortable working with international and multi-currency accounting processes.Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.Soft Skills & AttributesHigh ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive and confidential data.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Effective communicator, capable of explaining complex financial topics to non-finance teams.Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.Team-oriented and collaborative across departments.Bonus / PreferredExperience in US tax filings, IRS compliance, or international tax matters.Background in tech, SaaS, or startup environments; familiarity with global or multi-entity structures.Exposure to automation, process improvement, or scripting in finance-related tasks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
