Courier Driver - Sharjah, UAEAs a Courier Driver in Sharjah, UAE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of packages and documents to various locations. This position is open to all nationalities and does not require fluency in English.Responsibilities:- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to deliver packages and documents to designated locations- Plan and follow the most efficient route for each delivery, taking into account traffic conditions and time constraints- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of packages as per customer requirements- Handle all necessary paperwork for each delivery, including obtaining signatures and maintaining accurate records- Communicate with customers in a professional manner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have about their delivery- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle, reporting any issues to the supervisor immediately- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road, prioritizing safety at all times- Assist with loading and unloading of packages from the vehicle as neededRequirements:- Valid UAE driving license (manual) with at least 2 years of driving experience- Previous experience working as a courier or delivery driver preferred- Good knowledge of Sharjah roads and traffic patterns- Ability to read maps and navigate using GPS systems- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy packages (up to 30 kg)- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not required.- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionWorking Conditions:This is a contract job that offers competitive compensation along with other benefits such as health insurance.
