Cost Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Lead to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Cost Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for our projects. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement cost management strategies to ensure project financial successLead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for complex projectsAnalyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesCreate and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projectionsCollaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to optimize project costsConduct variance analyses and provide recommendations for cost control measuresOversee the development and maintenance of cost databases and historical cost informationPrepare and present comprehensive cost reports to senior managementMentor and guide junior team members in cost management practicesStay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost managementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience in cost management or related fieldProfessional certifications such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) preferredProven expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysisStrong proficiency in cost management software (e.g., "Oracle Primavera, MS Project") and advanced Excel skillsExperience in large-scale projects, preferably in construction, engineering, or manufacturing industriesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailStrong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage teams and interact with stakeholdersKnowledge of industry-specific cost drivers and trendsFamiliarity with local and international cost standards and regulationsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational and time management skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
