Cost Controller

Food People is partnered with a manufacturing organisation in the food sector to identify a Cost Controller in Fujairah. This role is responsible for driving cost visibility and discipline across factory operations, ensuring accurate product costing, detailed variance analysis, and alignment of cost performance with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end cost monitoring, comparing actual production costs to standard and budgeted benchmarksIdentify cost inefficiencies and unusual variances across materials, labour, utilities, and overheadsMaintain and review bills of materials, updating standard costs for finished goodsMonitor material consumption and inventory valuation, supporting stock counts, and investigating discrepanciesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and rolling cost assumptions with actionable insightsPrepare regular cost, variance, and profitability reports with clear recommendationsPartner with operational teams on waste reduction, yield improvement, and cost control initiativesEnsure costing processes comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and ERP systemsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline4 to 7 years’ experience in cost control within a manufacturing environment, ideally food or FMCGCMA/ACCA certification is a MUSTStrong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis and inventory managementExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo or similarExcellent analytical skills and high attention to detail*Please note, only candidates with relevant experience will be contacted#J-18808-Ljbffr
