Cost Control Engineer- Aluminium Factory

To monitor, control, and optimize manufacturing costs within the aluminium fabrication facility, ensuring accurate product costing, material yield control, and profitability across projects and production lines.Key Responsibilities:Product Costing & AnalysisDevelop and maintain standard costing for aluminium profiles, glazing systems, curtain wall, doors & windows.Prepare cost per ton / cost per sqm analysis.Validate BOMs and ensure correct material allocation.Support estimation team with factory-based production costing.Material & Yield ControlMonitor aluminium profile consumption and cutting optimization.Control scrap %, wastage, and rework.Track powder coating, anodizing, and finishing costs.Analyze hardware and accessory cost impact.Variance & ReportingPerform material, labor, and overhead variance analysis.Monitor machine utilization and productivity rates.Prepare weekly and monthly cost performance reports.Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective action.Inventory & ERP ControlReconcile physical vs ERP material consumption.Monitor LME-linked aluminium price fluctuations.Ensure accurate cost allocation in ERP.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or Finance or related field5–8 years in aluminium fabrication cost control.Strong knowledge of yield optimization & standard costing.#J-18808-Ljbffr
