HALA aims at empowering SMEs to start, run, and grow their businesses by providing them with cutting‑edge financial and technological tools.HALA currently holds multiple entities in UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt (including HALA Payments and HALA Logistics) and offers solutions that enable merchants to digitize their payments as well as manage their sales and operations.Founded in 2017, HALA is currently licensed by the Saudi Arabian Central Bank.The corporate governance manager will join the Governance team within Corporate Development with a possibility to carve out the team separately in the future and have the following responsibilities:Governance FrameworksDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve the Group’s corporate governance frameworks in line with regulatory expectations and best practices.Ensure governance frameworks scale appropriately with organizational growth and increasing regulatory scrutiny.Maintain governance manuals, charters, and internal governance documentation.Policies and ProceduresDraft, review, and update group‑wide policies and procedures.Ensure policies are properly approved, communicated, and embedded into business operations.Support consistent interpretation and application of governance policies across subsidiaries.Board & Committee GovernanceSupport governance aspects of board and committee structures, including charters, mandates, and annual calendars.Assist in ensuring appropriate governance practices at board and committee level as the organization matures.Contribute to governance‑related board and committee materials and disclosures.Governance Implementation & EmbeddingWork with business, legal, finance, compliance, and risk teams to embed governance requirements into day‑to‑day processes.Support rollout, awareness, and practical adoption of governance frameworks and policies.Act as an internal advisor to management on governance expectations and best practices.Regulatory & IPO‑Readiness AlignmentEnsure governance frameworks and documentation are aligned with applicable Saudi regulations and evolving IPO‑readiness expectations.Support interactions with regulators, auditors, and advisors on governance‑related matters.Contribute to governance disclosures required for fundraising, regulatory submissions, and future listing processes.Governance Monitoring & ReportingMonitor adherence to governance policies and frameworks across the Group.Identify governance issues, inconsistencies, or areas requiring enhancement and coordinate corrective actions.Prepare governance updates and reporting for senior management and relevant committees.What We Offer YouWe believe you will love working at HALA!We have an inclusive and diverse culture that encourages innovation and flexibility in remote, in‑office, and hybrid work setups.We offer highly competitive compensation packages, including the potential for shares.We prioritize personal development and offer regular training and an annual learning stipend to tackle new challenges and grow your career in a hyper‑growth environment.Join a talented team of over 30 nationalities working in 7 countries and gain valuable experience in an exciting industry.We offer autonomy, mentoring, and challenging goals that create incredible opportunities for both you and the company.You will be given a lot of responsibility and trust.
