About the job Consultant /Specialist PICU with DHAJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced Consultant/Specialist in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing critically ill pediatric patients and be fluent in Russian or an Eastern European language, ensuring effective communication with patients and families from these regions.Key Responsibilities:Provide specialized care for critically ill neonates and children in the Pediatric ICU.Diagnose, manage, and treat life-threatening conditions requiring intensive care.Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, mechanical ventilation, and central line placement.Lead pediatric resuscitation and emergency response teams.Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians, anesthetists, and nurses.Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and medical staff in the PICU.Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and international best practices.Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.Communicate effectively with patients and families, especially Russian-speaking and Eastern European families, to provide medical updates and emotional support.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: MBBS with specialization in Pediatric Critical Care (MD, DM, FRCPCH, or equivalent).Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in a Pediatric ICU setting.Licensing: Valid DHA License or eligibility to obtain one.Language: Fluency in Russian or an Eastern European language is required.Skills:Strong clinical decision-making and leadership abilities.Excellent communication skills, particularly with Russian and Eastern European patients.Proficiency in pediatric emergency procedures.Compassionate approach towards patients and families.#J-18808-Ljbffr
