OverviewJob Title: Senior Principal Consultant, PresalesLocation: Dubai, UAE (hybrid, 50% working time at the office)Employment Type: full-time, permanentJob Description:Your primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership to the sales account manager during the whole sales cycle. The activities include but are not limited to: developing opportunities with sales & marketing, attending internal/external meetings and providing ideas and opinions to achieve meeting goals, delivering technical presentations and demos, providing architecture and technical write-ups with full ownership for technical proposals, providing product or solution training to internal teams and external customers, and knowledge of new technologies such as AI, ML, Industrial AI, and cloud technologies.Dimensions: This role involves working closely with Marketing, Sales, Delivery, Customer Support, Business Units, and R&D to identify, develop and maintain offerings to satisfy customer needs and solve problems in competitive environments. The role requires continuous learning about new technology, industry trends, competitors’ information, so that the employee can articulate AVEVA’s unique value proposition to target customers. Frequent travel (including international travel) is expected. We value diversity and the expertise that people from different backgrounds bring to our business.ResponsibilitiesCreating and maintaining customer presentations and demos with clear value propositions.Developing and maintaining sales opportunities captured in the CRM (Salesforce) by working closely with marketing and sales.Activities including sales support, marketing event support and proposal support.Learning & development to upskill core skill set and learn other solutions to expand scope is required.Managing the vision setting, proof of values, and proof of concept developments with hands-on solutioning and excellent communication skills to convince stakeholders about AVEVA offerings.Essential RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering disciplineTypically, 15+ years' experience with AVEVA solutions/products in industrial operations, and 10+ years' experience in a technical sales, Presales or business development roleSignificant practical experience with PI Data Platform, monitoring & control solutions, asset performance management, Unified Operations Centre (UOC), MES solutions; knowledge of SCADA, automation systems, and ISA-95Knowledge of AI/ML/Industrial AI, predictive analytics, cloud technologies; certifications in Azure or AWS are a plusTakes personal responsibility for solving customer concernsBuilds working relationships with peers and other teamsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic teamStrong problem-solving and requirement discovery for prospective customersAbility to self-manage and handle multiple commitmentsExcellent verbal and written communication in English; local language is an added advantageExperience with Middle East & Africa customers in Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure, MMM, CPG industries is mandatoryInvests in self-study related to industry, software and supporting technologies#J-18808-Ljbffr
